Royal Society Library's Group "Edit-a-thon" of Wikipedia
I love this. It’s exactly what libraries should be doing with Wikipedia and other internet resources. Rather than fretting about one triumphing over the other, I think the Royal Society and Wikipedia are showing the fantastic synthesis that can be created between two different institutions. It’s also a fine way to teach about the strengths / weaknesses of both print and electronic information sources.
And what a great way to promote the library’s collections.
